Back-Inn Time was Chelmsford’s first American theme restaurant. It is small but serves big portions of great American food, with burgers, steaks, ribs and barbecue chicken being the most popular dishes.

The atmosphere is always relaxed and family-orientated. If you go for a birthday party let them know and all the staff will “sing” happy birthday.

The bar serves excellent cocktails and their milk shakes are big and thick, always a favourite with the kids.

They also serve the ultimate dessert, the SIMPLY OUTRAGEOUS, a  super sundae consisting of fudge brownies, fudge sauce, topped with vanilla ice cream, fresh whipped cream,walnuts and a double choc cookie. Yum!
